The Unified Metric Cards allow you to create, visualize, and manage up to four different metrics on a single report card within your custom dashboard. It’s designed to streamline your data analysis.
How Does This Feature Help You?
Imagine you’re managing a customer support team and want to quickly track the volume of tickets, customer satisfaction (CSAT) score, and response time. Instead of navigating through multiple dropdowns, you can now view all these metrics side by side in a single report card on your dashboard. This helps you identify patterns and trends faster, all while having the flexibility to filter each metric individually.
Whether you’re tracking product performance, team efficiency, or customer satisfaction, unified metric cards give you a centralized view of your most important data. You can also edit, rename, or delete metrics as needed, providing full control over your custom reports.

Examples of When Metric Cards Can Help You:
- Weekly Reporting: You’re preparing a weekly performance report and need to track metrics such as response times, CSAT, and the number of resolved tickets. With Unified Metric Cards, all key data is displayed in one place, saving you the time of pulling separate reports.
- Campaign Performance: You’re running a marketing campaign and want to compare metrics like website visits, email open rates, and customer inquiries. Custom metric cards allow you to see the performance in a single glance and identify what’s working and where adjustments are needed.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Why are the metric cards different colors?
The colors are assigned automatically based on the card’s position: the first is yellow, the second green, and so on. These colors don’t represent any data, just the card’s order.
2. Will I see metric cards in my scheduled reports?
Yes, your unified metric cards will appear in scheduled digests and one-time reports, giving you full visibility of your data across different reporting formats.
3. Do I need to use all four metric cards?
No, you can add as few as one or two metrics if that’s all you need. The interface will dynamically adjust to fit the number of cards you add.
4. Can I add the same metric more than once?
Yes! If you want to compare different data segments of the same metric—like ticket volume from email vs. chat—you can add the same metric multiple times with different filters.
5. Can I use metrics from different sources in one card?
Absolutely. Each card can feature up to four sub-metrics, even if they come from different data sources.
6. Can I apply a filter to all four cards at once?
Not right now. Filters must be applied to each card individually. We’re working on a unified filter option for a future update.
7. How can I change or remove a metric card?
Simply drag and drop a new metric to replace an existing one. Just keep in mind that any filters applied to the old card will be reset.
8. Can I rename my report or the individual metrics?
Yes, you can fully customize both the name of the report and the names of each metric card to suit your needs.
