✨ Action Tracking – From Insight to Impact

Action Tracking in SentiSum helps your team act on valuable customer insights instantly—without switching tabs. Whether it's feedback from a support conversation, survey, or review, you can now convert insights into trackable tasks with just a few clicks.

This guide walks you through how to use the feature and what to expect.

Why Use Action Tracking?

Today, customer insights often get lost in Slack threads, spreadsheets, or Jira tickets. With Action Tracking, you can:

  • Mark insights or conversations as actionable tasks

  • Assign them to team members

  • Set priorities and due dates

  • Collaborate through comments

  • Track resolution status — all in one place

It’s simple, powerful, and built to close the gap between identifying problems and solving them.

How to use it

1. Go to the Discover Page

2. Find a tag or conversation that needs follow-up

3. Click “Mark as Action”

4. Fill in the action details

  • Give it a meaningful name
  • Add description of the action
  • Set Status of the action
  • Set Priority of the action
  • Assign it to a team member

  • Set a due date

Once the action is created, the assignee will receive an email about it.

Track & Manage

Access all your actions from the Action Tracking Page.

You can also keep everyone in the loop by posting updates in the comments section of each action. Use comments to:

  • Share progress updates

  • Ask for clarification

  • Add relevant links or context
